As a performing artiste, Dr. Vasumathi tours extensively and present her concerts in many prestigious national and international festivals. As a thinking musician, Vasumathi is involved in several creative productions, research projects and collaborates with musicians across the world. A Fulbright Fellow and an Erasmus Mundus scholar, Dr. Badrinathan has published columns, articles, short stories, poems, and translations from Marathi & Tamil into French. Her recent book 'Le Tiruppavai ou Le chant matinal de Margali' is a translation of the classical Tamil poetic verses of Andal's Tiruppavai into French.
