Usha Amin is the co-founding partner and fund manager at SAHA FUND, India’s first venture capital fund which funds and supports women entrepreneurs in technology. SAHA has invested in start up ventures, many of which have scaled and grown to raise large funding. Usha is Director on Boards of several Companies. Usha mentors CEO’s and founders in areas of business strategy, management, finance, operations, and fund raising activities. With digitizing at the peak demand to meet the current challenges, thrust to women entrepreneurship in this area has never been so essential. The current phase has put even more responsibility on women to share the burden and  develop sustainable businesses to improve the state of livelihoods and employment.  

Usha Amin is a graduate of science from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). With over 30 years of experience in finance and management she has been associated with various companies in Banking, Education, Manufacturing, Telecom and IT sector. She was the CFO and Director on the Boards of Genisys Software Limited. She is a former Board member of Mahila Co-operative Bank.
